Cletus Junior
Cletus is from Tambunum Village, Angoram District in East Sepik Province where he learnt his skills for art from his grandfather, which Cletus views as a gift from his province.
His art pieces are created through craving and include Crocodile tables, Spirit Masks, Warrior man, etc.
Cletus creates other kinds of masks as well, for example, canoe prow masks, dance masks, ancestral masks, and souvenir masks. To hand-make these arts Cletus spends up to a week craving and drying his art before it is ready to sell. Cletus hopes to build a business from his work to help his children and family.
